Specialist Certificate In Clinical Hypnotherapy (Part 3)
The course is your final step towards becoming a qualified clinical hypnotherapist. To help you make this journey each student will receive a personal tutor and clinical mentor.

You will:

Acquire advanced psychotherapy and specialised hypnotherapy techniques such as regression, dissociation, inner child techniques and psycho-drama with hypnosis

Develop treatment protocols for issues such as anxiety and depression, panic disorders, emotional pain, management of chronic pain, allergies, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and other physical conditions.

Acquire the skills to work with special groups such as children and teenagers, pregnant women, and sports professionals

Develop an understanding of your client’s belief systems and explore so-called esoteric approaches

Integrate psychotherapeutic approaches with clinical hypnosis creating your own unique approaches to case management and client centred approaches.

The course consists of six modules that are conducted over six intermittent virtual and classroom-based weekends.
Students will benefit from a minimum of two classroom sessions and up to six classroom sessions depending on the current rules of social distancing in the UK.
Students are also required to attend a total of 6 tutorials and clinical supervision sessions.
This course also requires online learning in your own time.

Eligibility
As a minimum entry requirement, you must have successfully completed and passed the Advanced Certificate in Hypnosis & Behavioural Change (Part 2), or have completed and passed a similar course as agreed with the LSCCH.
As part of our commitment to safe ethical practice, every student will join the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) as an affiliate member. The BSCH is a national professional body promoting and assuring high standards in the practice of hypnotherapy and a validating body for the CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council).

Course Delivery: Blended Learning

The course delivery is a combination of online resources, live virtual interactions, and classroom time.

Students will benefit from specific coaching sessions on scriptwriting, academic research and writing, and how to conduct therapy via a virtual medium as well as the traditional face-to-face approach.

Students also benefit from mentoring sessions with experienced clinical hypnotherapists, which are conducted by group sessions.

All lectures are video recorded which means that you have control over your learning time. In addition, you will have access to a large library of video learning material designed to support your journey.

Classroom time is interactive and practical. Students are encouraged to share their own experiences and will have the opportunity to discuss real case studies.

Tutorial are offered in small groups online – you are required to attend three tutorials and a tutorial fee of £30 is payable per tutorial

Students are required to have associate membership of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and to obtain professional indemnity insurance. You can visit the BSCH for more information on www.bsch.org.uk

Award
Upon successful completion of the examination, you will receive the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy and can practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. If you have completed the full LSCCH Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis programme you will receive said Diploma and be able to become a full member of the BSCH.
Progression
Upon successful completion of the Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, you will be able to study for the Advanced Practitioner in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
